MangaPuff Terms of Service

Welcome to MangaPuff. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MangaPuff iOS application and related services (the "Services"). References to "we," "us," and "our" mean MangaPuff.

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace a separate consent required for personal information processing.

1. The Services and Application License

MangaPuff provides a mobile experience for discovering and reading comics and manga. Available titles, languages, features, and access conditions may vary by app version and region.

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms, applicable law, and the permissions associated with the content. Access to a comic does not transfer ownership or give you unrestricted rights to copy or distribute it.

For App Store downloads where no custom end user license agreement is provided, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies to the application license. These Terms supplement that agreement for the Services without removing rights under applicable law or Apple's agreement. MangaPuff provides support for its Services; Apple separately administers its platform and purchase services.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or meet a higher minimum age required by applicable law or the content you access. If you are under 18 or the age of legal majority where you live, you must have parental or guardian permission and supervision where your use is legally permitted. Do not bypass age restrictions.

If an account is available and you create one, provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and do not use another person's account without authorization. Report suspected unauthorized access to joanesmaggret@gmail.com.

Where account creation is supported, you can initiate account deletion within the app. Information retention and deletion are explained in the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Copy, sell, redistribute, or publicly display content without the required permission, except as allowed by law.
• Bypass payment requirements, access restrictions, or security protections.
• Use automated tools to harvest content or personal information, disrupt the Services, or manipulate activity.
• Upload malicious software or gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
• Harass or threaten others, infringe privacy, or use the Services for unlawful purposes.
• Modify, reverse-engineer, or attempt to obtain the app's source code except to the extent permitted by applicable law or an applicable software license.

4. Copyright and Contributions

Rights in the app, branding, comics, and artwork remain with their respective owners or licensors.

If an export, annotation, or sharing feature is available, that feature does not itself authorize reproduction or publication of a work. Obtain any permissions your use requires. Personal or non-commercial use is not automatically an exception to copyright protection.

If you submit feedback or content through an available feature, you must have the right to submit it. You retain your rights and grant us a non-exclusive permission to handle the submission only as reasonably needed to provide the relevant feature, respond to it, and maintain the Services. Public material may be visible to others. Unlawful, abusive, or infringing submissions may be removed.

To report a copyright concern, email joanesmaggret@gmail.com with the work concerned, the location of the disputed material, your contact information, and the basis of your rights or authority. We may request further information and take appropriate action.

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

This section applies when paid content or features are offered.

For a purchase through Apple's In-App Purchase system, Apple handles payment through your Apple Account. The purchase screen identifies the price, what is included, and any duration or renewal terms before you confirm.

If an automatically renewing subscription is offered, it continues unless canceled according to the terms and timing shown by Apple. A trial or promotional offer may convert to a paid subscription on the terms disclosed at purchase unless canceled in time.

You can manage or cancel an Apple-billed subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. See Apple's cancellation instructions. Deleting the app or a MangaPuff account does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Eligible non-consumable purchases and active subscriptions can be restored using the Apple Account associated with the purchase. Consumable items may not be restorable in the same way. Contact support if you need assistance.

For Apple-billed transactions, refund requests follow Apple's process and applicable law. Refund approval is not guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory refund or consumer rights.

6. Availability and External Services

Maintenance, technical issues, licensing changes, or events outside reasonable control may affect the Services. We aim to provide a reliable experience, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability of every title.

External links, advertisements, and connected services may be subject to separate terms. Their inclusion does not mean we endorse every third-party claim. We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us.

We may make reasonable updates to maintain security, compatibility, and service quality. Where a change materially affects purchased access, we will provide the notice and any remedy required by law.

7. Restrictions and Liability

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, fraud, a security risk, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent risks may require immediate action.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis without guarantees beyond those expressly stated or legally required. Liability for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable may be limited only where the law permits.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or removes mandatory consumer guarantees or statutory remedies. Restrictions or termination do not remove rights that must continue, including applicable refund and privacy rights.

8. Changes and Disputes

We may revise these Terms as the Services or applicable requirements change. The latest version will show an updated date. Material changes will be communicated with the notice or acceptance required by law and will not retroactively remove mandatory rights.

Any dispute is subject to applicable law and the jurisdiction of a competent court. Mandatory consumer protections, including any right to bring a claim where you live, remain unaffected.

You may contact us to seek an informal resolution. Doing so does not prevent you from using legal or regulatory remedies.
